Week 45

I had an appointment with Nathan this week. Before the meeting I drove and wandered a bit through Rotterdam. It was a dreadful day but I did manage to make some photographs.

All made with an Epson R-D1 Leica 28 and 35mm lenses.

An old door. Very soon to be demolished unfortunate. At  least I have a picture now.

1918

As I said a very dreadful day.

1925

1929

Better to sit inside.

1933

I drove to the south side of the city and came along this market which was finished. People were cleaning up the mess.

1936

Or helping the last customers.

1940

Very multi cultural market.

1943

Getting the jewellery into the boxes.

1951

And getting rid of the ice.

1952

Then I decided to drive to the harbours to see what was going on there. Not very much as you can see.

1965

1969

Nathan in action.

1970

Harbour station.

1988

The “swan”. The latest bridge in Rotterdam. The rain makes it even more beautiful. I can’t decide which one of the two pictures I like most
