We’ve visited an exhibition by Cornelis Zitman. He is a Dutch sculptor living in South America.
He lives there already since the 1950’s. He didn’t want to fight in Indonesia and therefore fled to South America. After a successful business career as an furniture manufacture he decided it was time to do what was right for him. Since then he has done sculpting and is one of the most famous artists of his country.
As you can see in the pictures he is highly inspired by South America as well as by the Netherlands.
