I went to a an evening with Steve McCurry. You know, the famous National Gepgrpahic photographer best known for his Afgahn girl pictures.
But his other work is very beautiful also.
The vening was set up as an interview while showing some of his pictures. Steve is a very nice guy and can tell a lot about his journeys. He is very lively and when he was singing his books he proofed to be a very frindsly person also.
A few pictures of this evening. Made with Leica M7 90 summicron and 50 summilux on Delta 3200 @ 1600 souped in xtol.
delightful set of pictures, michiel; a mini-reportages, with different expressions denoting much of his character, i guess.
