No, I didn’t go to Alaska this week to wait 4 days to catch this shot of a Bald Eagle.
We went to a Safari park with a bird show. Nice weather and great fun. And an opportunity to get out the long glass. The picture of the gorilla is made with the telyt 280/4.8 and three adapter rings to get it working on the 20d. The 80-200/4.5 was used for the bird pictures. It is amazing what this old lens can deliver. Because of the 1.6 crop factor the 400/6.8 could stay in the bag.
