More portraits

Filed under: Canon, Digital, Film, Leica — Michiel Fokkema @ 8:02 pm

I’ve been searching for the perfect portrait lens for quit some time now.

I’ve tried loads of them but finally found a reasonable priced leica Summilux 80.

Testing took place the last two weeks and here are some results. Both on film (R6, Kodak Portra 400) and digital (Canon 5dII) it delivers the look I’ve been searching for. Sharp enough wide open, almost perfect Bokeh, shallow DOF.

  1. delightful series of portraits, specially of your girls.

you have finally, as you say, found your lens. still reckon my contax 85 1.4 is its equal or …………., but that we must test to prove!

relaxed images and creativity, which shine thru’.

    thanx for sharing,
    b.
